this was visually engaging, and kept me interested through the whole video. many videos i just stop because i'm bored twenty seconds in.
conventions are in place for a reason. without them, genre videos wouldn't exist. overusing them is different from tastefully using conventions, which is what you did here. good job.

so meant to say... despite my 'sarky' comment about generic mould..
its definately a great video which is well very accoumplished. see why you shot the style you did even if deep down I feel its pandering..
Top work

Nice video. like one of the guy's mentioned, it has that early 90's east coast hiphop feel.
check future brixton, it's a music video we shot a few months back...

A rap video that is using conventions without making them into stereotypes? I'm amazed and delighted. It has a nice pace with fast cutting, keeping this rap video two stops above the rest. Well done.

G! Amazing video, congrats. Fuck the haters, this is a real rap video! Put Rakim in there and nobody would even notice. Great song too! Nice one all 'round.

nice imagery, fast paced and eye catching editing...
I didn't realise however that Brussels was also a suburb of the generic US hiphop mould.
read up that your MC grew up between NY and Brussels and I see how you are catering for a market.. only I wish hiphop didnt always pander to the US centric stereotypes
