NIN Ghosts I-I

By IceBlock Films

This was my contribution to the NIN online video project not-really-a-contest thing.

I woke up to a heavy heavy snow-fall one day, which is rare in this part of Japan. I dashed to the train, camera in hand, and shot this with all the power in my little heart.

I hope you enjoy it. If you respect yourself and the world we live in, you will (legally) acquire a copy of NIN Ghosts. It's such a terrific record. This is just one of the many brilliant cuts off that album.

Thank you for watching. Comment if you want to.

I loved this. Simple black and white, nobody looking around sad or anything, just people doing their thing in snow. Really nicely done. I guess I'm a sucker for man-on-the-street shots.

Beautiful. The B&W post works extremely well - reminiscent of old newsreel footage but depicting the present day juxtaposed with some historic structures. Very, very nice work.

Thanks for the comments. Really encouraging stuff!

My favorite part is when the older sister is fixing the jacket of the younger sister, walks away, and then the little sister is confused. I looked away from the action while filming and didn't even see that until I got home and re-watched the footage.

Peace y'all!
