Here is an old clip low budget number for another australian hop group the funkoars. They rocked up to the shoot a day late and completely wasted...we had to shoot it all in half a day and they were passing out during takes etc. The visual effects technique is pretty simple it requires you to shoot each scene in reverse order and then taking the first frame you print it onto the magazine cover and away you go.
Enjoy because somebody really should...;-)

yea, you sure did pull it off, definitely should get a medal for genius work, getting what you could and making it work to your advantage, so much that you took their song and gave it a very creative spin, nice movement work on the camera, cut aways, edits and transitions between shots and such, great job, kept me very engrossed. splendid!

Actually this is all shot in the same location a vacant warehouse with a bunch of dodgy props that made up each set. We just rotated between them each being a few metres apart from each other. It originally had more locations and magazines but the band was impossible so I ended up ditching them for some digital tracking shots....cheers for the comment
This is great fun. Considering you filmed it in half a day with all those locations and a drunk band you deserve a medal!
Love the magazine stuff, very clever (and cheap to do!)

Can't believe you shot this in half a day...awesome

I love it when directors give insight as to how the video was made and conditions, such as 'half a day', or how the visual effects are done! Thanks!
