You did indeed see musicians hidden in her shadow. I originally wanted the shadow to have an animated performance from the band, but I felt it would have made the screen too busy.
The sun set dress was the first idea I had for the song and from that I sort of worked out the plot/story thing...it was mainly about the dancing though!haha

She's sublime as she dances across the waxing moon - (1:42 -1:49).
