Thank you. To be honest, not sure if I could do it again. I split the budget with the artist and after that it was pretty hard.

Thank you.
The one at the beginning is a ink wash. The transitions vary between ink and sand mattes.
The depth of the Colours are magical!
Really impressive that you were able to make such a visual feat on such a budget.
Gorgeous! Love the splashy/growing effect for the backgrounds and wipes. How did you make the white one on the opening sequence, it's lovely!

Thank you for the comments.
It was all Photoshop and After Effects.
The backgronds and the camera movements are very nice, an easy way to convey an atmosphere.
I mostly just read a lot of children books. I started when I was a child and never broke the habit. The best ones don't captivate you for what's on the page but what those images make you think of. Suddenly, the page splashes into a canvas miles long that hypnotizes you. Seuss, Sendak, and Van Allsbergh are all really good at making you feel like what you were looking at, regardless of how fantastic it might be, was only a hint of what was off the page.
That being said, your video is gorgeous and made me think of that.
What software were you working in?
