I liked the ghost like feel to the video which suited the track really well, although I didn't think the video as a whole went anywhere and I found myself hoping there would be a big expolsive change of idea each time the track kicked in. Nice work though.

disappointing! you cant just lay an effect on and call it a day - good for a video art piece in a gallery, as very conceptual. but as a music video, idea is weak.

I disagree, this video went through massive development during its production, from a professional high concept shoot on the streets of london with mega super effected multi-angled scenes particle emmissions and body rigs etc, but it just didn't work with the music properly, it was in danger of becoming the soundtrack to the narrative. After a lot of thought I stripped it back to this, this works with the song and the band, highlighting the ethereal quality in the track. There are no effects on this just simple overlays and you really can do whatever you want with a music video as long as everyone involved are happy with it, and the band love it. Not every video should rely on gimic or a narrative or an "idea", the history of moving image is full of beautiful examples of formal work that have a lot of power in themselves. I like this video its got synergy!
