I think so too! If you edited on FCP, would you mind filling me in on some of your aging effects? I think you did a wonderful job, and the track is delicious. Best from Michael.

Thanks for the comments! Don't think I've had comments before. It is a lovely track, lovely band, too.

I actually do my editing in Premiere, and all my finishing in After Effects. It was shot on 8mm, and transferred to miniDV, so the footage already looked a bit rough.

I sometimes use a bit of Magic Bullet to age footage, but if memory serves I did a lot of this one manually. There are some blurs controlled by gradients. Some flicker in opacity. A bit of localised colour correction. I blurred the shadows and layered them back on top. Pumped some colours up... I think that was about it!
