I am a filmmaker and designer. My first film premiered in 1991 at the Asian American Film Festival and my work has screened at many museums and festivals since then. I received a Mid Atlantic Region Media Arts Fellowship and a Pennsylvania Council on the Humanities Grant.

For the last 15 years, I have been making short video pieces on an American-born Muslim, of Indian origin: himself. Since this doesn't pay the bills I am also an art director, designer, visual effects artist, and animator on commercial and broadcast projects. Some of my clients include Imaginary Forces, StarTV, SkyTV, Chanel, Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger, and AOL. Recently, I have also been taking jobs as an editor for independent documentaries. So far, I have only cut trailers.

I attended Emory University, The Atlanta College of Art, American University, and the Graduate Filmmaking program at Temple University.

I currently live in Brooklyn with my wife and two children.
