Educated at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography and the protege of legendary music video director Wayne Isham (MTV's Best Director of all Time Recipient as well as 14 other MTV awards and nominations) Spence Nicholson knows his way around a set, as well as a set of lenses.

With his intense graphic compositions, strong blocking skills and his understanding of refined and textured lighting, Spence's diverse photographic and fine art backgrounds provide him with a unique and fresh prospective. And with his post-production background (Spence has been editing for over five years and has worked closely with Wayne in post) he understands the importance of getting everything you need on set and not "fixing it in post".

Spence also has experience with live concerts. Spence has assisted Wayne on several concerts including Faith Hills NBC Special, Tenacious D Live in Seattle and Hinder "You can't make this shit up" for the latter Spence traveled with the band documenting their Summer tour. In addition to assisting, Spence has camera operated for a number of concert films and directed a few on his own as well.

A true product of the digital age Spence's knowledge of, and passion for, the film process rivals those nearly twice his age. His treatments and resulting spots showcase his creative perspective and are the only true outlet for his busy and chaotic mind.
