Alex Sufit (aka Lexitricity) comes from a family of creatives: musicians, singers and artists. Having abandoned the violin in a fit of teenage rebellion (which she still regrets) Alex now makes videos in a bid to satisfy the musical genes. Keen on narrative "with some semblance of a plot". There is a bit of a story behind this video which might be of interest to those of you interested in new technology as this was shot on the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Personally, I loved the ease of use. I... posted on Jul 17, 2009 "Chalk" was made for the New-York based band Aaron & Mordechai. I came up with the concept a couple of days before the shoot and stopped over 'en route' to where we were filming to buy a box of chalk.... posted on Jul 16, 2009 Very clever indeed! Great concept.
