About Me

About Me

We are a duo of screenwriters, animators and filmmakers based in Oxford, channelling our energies into Music Videos and Animated Comedy, while pursuing freelance work in the shallows of Film. Our main thrust is a technique of photo-animation using multiple still shots and articulated limbs to create a moving picture. This allows us to create grandiose, outlandish videos on a micro budget. We are also moving into chroma-key filming on our latest commission for ATC Management.

We are from Lagos and Paris, and met at Balliol College, Oxford. We have degrees in English Literature and Physiology. We bring all of our art and science to bear on the fabrication of moving pictures.

Our major past and present Projects:

2004-6 A series of short live-action films, one of which won a prize in the Oxford “Filming Literature” Festival. (Simon Lord, Director)

2006 BBC New Animators – Our 2-minute Short “God and Rob” was shortlisted and featured on the BBC website (Simon Lord & Alasdair Simpson, Writers & Directors)

2007 “Dark Side of Uranus” – A seven-minute space epic, animated entirely in just one month by two humans on a zero budget. Screened on Propeller TV in July 2007 (Simon Lord & Alasdair Simpson, Writers & Directors)
