Hi, I am a Manchester based Director, but am always down in London. After I left Liverpool Uni with a degree in Crminology and Sociology, I worked in the camera and lighting Department on loads of short films so as to learn about filmmaking and photography. It served me well and I went on to be the D.O.P and Producer on a low budge Feature called Lookin For Lucky. It was the first thing I had shot and looking back now, I'd change so much but Its been a great experience. After working on loads of commercials, shorts, music vids and Featrues, I finally felt ready to start directing music vids. The first being for Snowfight in the City Centre and the seconed for Sidecar Kisses (now called Joy Formidable), which went on to be shown in Topshop throughout the country, Channle M, E4 music, Kerrang. Feb of this year I was accepted onto the Berlinale Talent Campus which is run in conjunction with the Berlin Film Festival. I was accepted on the strength of my D.O.P showreel made up of my music vids and shorts films I had shot. Best experience of my life and met some amazing industry people and freinds. Ultimately a great learning curve
Currently I am just finishing up the post on a music Vid I have just Directed for a band called Darke Horse. I'm really pleased with the results and all being well it should be up soon. I'm also in pre-production on a short called The Cull which I will be directing this Winter.
