I began filmmaking as an artist shooting experimental films. My main forms of expressions involved a synthesis of cinematography and digital imagery. My aesthetics are influenced by Dadaism, Surrealism, graphic novels, indie art comics, sci fi, fantasy, and art house flicks. Some of my favorite artists/filmmakers include: Shirin Neshat, Matthew Barney, Andrei Tarkovsky, Georgy Rerberg, Dave McKean, and Peter Greenway. I approach cinematography as a form of painting and digital media and form of interactive collage. Music always scripts my work and music video has long been one of my most favorite genres (next to sci fi).

After grad school I began to pursue a more traditional filmmaking career working mostly as a cinematographer but I also produce and edit. My production experience includes: narrative features and shorts, documentaries, commercials, music videos and experimental films. I travel frequently for regional, national, and international shoots.
