About Me
'Enter the Treehouse' is a newly established collaborative working in Film, Stop Motion Animation and Illustrative Artwork.
We all graduated from Loughborough University in 2007 and decided to start 'Enter the Treehouse' as we wanted to create interesting music videos as there are so many dull, uninspiring videos out there. We managed to win a creative grant from the council with helped us to buy some equipment and are now loving every minute of shooting and storyboarding.
Our work is thought provoking, perhaps a little controversial and very different. We have over 12 years experience between us. Our intent is to give the audience a memorable and pleasurable experience ensuring that they continue to reflect on the subject for some time afterwards.
The Team:
Robert Palmer - Filmmaker. I mainly focus on using relevant materials, so that they reflect the ideas I deal with. The use and manipulation of these unorthodox mediums
in my work, attracts attention and connects to the viewers on a more personal and intimate level.
Jonathan Moon - Illustrator. My work is driven by ideas, emotion, opinion, behavior and often, debate. I have a diverse working process and like to work
with both hand crafted and digital techniques.
Tash Walkerdine - Stop motion animator. I am intrigued by suspense and how to construct it within film, the immersion of the viewer into the plot and how stop motion animation allows the fictional to become reality.
