About Me
Alex de Campi makes highly collaborative, cinematic music videos that stretch the boundaries of narrativity while, at heart, remaining glorious little pieces of entertainment. She works equally happily across animation and live action, from oldskool fully 2D animated work through puppetry and cgi integrated onto film to "straight" live action. She prefers to shoot on film, and she owns her own Super16 and Super8 cameras. Alex splits her time between London and the US. She is represented by Boulevard Industries in LA.
Her music videos have been shown in festivals such as SXSW, Rushes Soho Shorts, Nashville, Flanders, Raindance, Renderyard and many others. "Those Rules", a £500 video shot on Super16 for an unsigned band, shot to number 1 on Youtube worldwide its week of release in August 2007, gaining over 250,000 hits in a week.

Other Achievements
Did masterclass for BBC's "Blast" initiative on directing low-budget music videos. Masterclass was broadcast on BBC2 and is available at the BBC Blast website.
Alex's music videos have also been broadcast on pretty much every British music video channel/programme, and gotten several of her bands their first play on MTV.
