The inaugural Radar Awards 2016 were supported by

Vevo, YouTube & Marshall Amps

2016 saw the launch of the first Radar Awards.

Created to find the best up & coming creative talent worldwide, the awards brought together many hundreds of entries, the elite of the commercial production company world, industry journalists and top line sponsors, to celebrate excellent new work. The awards were held at the prestigious YouTube Space in London on 14th July 2016

Prizes were all about boosting artist and filmmaker careers,

through powerful new contacts, networking and media promotion.

As well as industry-wide promotion, connection and networking, nominees & winners received production software, media subscriptions, festival entries, education access and most importantly, mentorship from a selection of the best production companies in the world.

Since the awards, many filmmakers are now on tryouts, repped or signed to companies that can provide them with a full time, successful career as creatives.
