Go to ‘Edit Profile’ at the extreme top right hand side of the site. If ‘Edit Profile’ isn’t showing, your membership application hasn’t been approved yet. Payment needs to be received for memberships to be approved, email caroline@radarfestival.com if you’ve paid but your membership isn’t active.
In ‘Edit Profile’, you’ve got 3 tabbed pages. ‘Member Profile’, 'Account Settings' and 'Personal Info'. You can change and update your profile info in 'Member Profile' and your image/avatar in ‘Account Settings’, here’s what do:
In ‘Member Profile’ you can add a description of yourself, mark your location on the world map, add links to your websites or other profile pages, upload stills and list any festivals you’ve been in, awards you’ve won and any other achievements you want to list. Hit ‘submit’ at the bottom to save info. A tip for using the map: put the marker roughly in the right place, then double click. That zooms you in, adjust the marker and double click again. Etc until you’re done. You don’t need to be accurate down to exact street if you don’t want to, getting your hamlet/town/city listed is enough.
You need to go to ‘Account Settings’ to upload the picture that gets used to represent you on the site – your avatar. It’s currently called ‘picture’; when you’ve chosen your file, you upload by hitting ‘submit’ at the bottom of the page. You can also change your password in this section and set any text you want associating with all your posts – your signature. You can also change your email preferences here – whether other members can contact you within the site and how often you receive emails from the site.
‘Personal Information’ is the info you supplied when you signed up. It’s not publicly viewable.
You can update any of these pages any time you're logged in.
You get 10 points added to your profile when you fill out your profile info.
