I've been trying to write a new post but couldn't quite find the time to do so.
Basically, I wanted to tell you about the night when we smoked a couple of spliffs and we started shooting a long overdue stop motion animation video. When I was so high that I couldn't properly use the ruler, or make the calculations. And when I could barely (was it blurrily) see if Dave the DOP (http://davidleecamera.co.uk/) had set the camera right. And when me and him were the only people in the studio, like half blind bats, with only two cold shitty pizzas, no cigarettes, and no key. Phone batteries dead, not enough space on the laptop or the external HDD's, all that jazz. But in the end, after 16 hours of '3, 2, 1' and 'hit it', everything turned out just fine. It was one of the funniest things I've ever shot, with Dave repeating obsessively, I don't know for what reason - 'holy calamity'. Which now I know it's a song, by the way. And given that I was quite confused and just wanted to get the goddamn thing in the can (so to speak), he was quite anal about the shooting, till he finally admitted he should quit being such an anal cunt. Did I tell you he's half Chinese, half Scottish?
Anyways, I wanted to tell you all about this, but I forgot all the details, sorry.
But I'll show you the video when we finish editing it.
