Using the RadarMusicVideos.com website in any way constitutes your acceptance of these entire Terms and Conditions. RadarMusicVideos has the right to change or amend these Terms and Conditions without further notice. If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below, including those listed in the Privacy Policy, please do not use the website
Definitions:
"RadarMusicVideos", "we", "us", means the company trading through www.radarmusicvideos.com and registered as The Radar Festival Limited.
“Client” or “Clients” means the record label, artist, brand or other third party commissioning music video production, promotion or other service offered and delivered by RadarMusicVideos.
“Director” or "Directors" means a member who is or has been a Premium account member ie able to access and submit treatments for music video briefs and to link videos to Radar.
“User” or "Users" means anyone interacting with the RadarMusicVideos website.
“Master” means a video file supplied to RadarMusicVideos.
All content and materials on the RadarMusicVideos website are protected under copyright and intellectual property rights laws of England and Wales and under similar international legislation.
RadarMusicVideos owns and retains all intellectual property and proprietary rights to all materials in the website, excluding content published or linked by its members. No part of the website belonging to Radar may be copied, reproduced, distributed or published without RadarMusicVideos’ written permission.

It is your responsibility to understand and identify what is copyright in your content and how copyright approval can be secured.
You give RadarMusicVideos the right to promote any video you link to the site, for the purpose of promoting RadarMusicVideos.
You may delete your account at any time by emailing a request to info@RadarMusicVideos.com. Subscription fees are not refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time in your own Paypal account.
We may terminate your membership if you breach Terms and Conditions or deliberately seek to circumvent payment or security measures deployed on the site, or if we deem it appropriate. If your membership is terminated by us your subscription fees may be forfeit. Termination based on misuse of the site or breach of these Terms and Conditions will be at Radar’s sole discretion.
RadarMusicVideos.com is a site aimed at users over the age of 18 years of age. RadarMusicVideos is not liable for the content of profile pages, linked videos and site comments. View the site at your own risk, and ensure that minors are accompanied by an adult when viewing.
RadarMusicVideos reserves the right to change or introduce charges at any time without prior notice.
By uploading your profile, name, images, and/or contact details, you agree that you are deciding at your own risk to make this information available on the internet. RadarMusicVideos accepts no responsibility or liability arising from use or misuse of your personal information that can be freely viewed by Internet users.
RadarMusicVideos has a password scheme to protect your profile content. It is your responsibility to protect your password, and if you are concerned about the security of your password, you should change it. You agree to indemnify RadarMusicVideos against any claims or liability relating to a security breach of RadarMusicVideos via your password.
RadarMusicVideos reserves the right to disable the site without prior notice if needed to perform maintenance on the site. We accept no liability or responsibility for losses you incur whilst our site is unavailable. You agree that you use this site at your own risk.
You agree that we will not be liable for any loss or damage you incur (including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, or any other incidental or consequential loss or damage) whether indirectly or directly caused by RadarMusicVideos or by the use of the site.
Radar Music Videos is owned and operated by The Radar Festival Ltd, based in England. Any dispute arising through the use of this site or relating to these Terms and Conditions will be presented before a court in England or Wales and be subject to English and Welsh law.
1 Video Promotion Terms and Conditions apply to:
- Featured videos selected by RadarMusicVideos,
- Videos commissioned through RadarMusicVideos.
2 Directors who link videos or supply masters to Radar must act on behalf of copyright owners, with the full knowledge and consent of copyright owners to these terms and conditions.
3 By supplying masters, Clients or Directors authorise RadarMusicVideos to distribute, syndicate, share and otherwise promote streaming copies of the video without limitation throughout the internet, including by email.
4 Music videos linked to RadarMusicVideos may be selected for the Featured Videos channel on the website and also featured in the RadarMusicVideos’ Facebook page. By linking videos to the RadarMusicVideos website, users agree their videos can be used in this way
5 The Client or Director supplying the master to RadarMusicVideos is responsible for confirming in writing any restrictions regarding promotion, including requirements which apply to metadata at the time of delivering the master.
6 Videos can be withdrawn from RadarMusicVideos’s channels on third party sites within 30 days, subject to receiving written notice of termination from the Client or Director supplying the master to Radar. We reserve the right to immediately withdraw videos which we believe could give rise to third party claims, that could create offence or that could otherwise harm RadarMusicVideos’s good standing. Videos are uploaded to third party sites on the sites’ standard terms. The Client or Director supplying the master to RadarMusicVideos acknowledge such terms may not expressly ban customers from reproduction of videos and that videos may not be streamed with security encoding.
7 The sites where your content is shared are responsible for mechanical licenses, royalties and other publishing payments. We will advise you whether the relevant third party is not taking responsibility for this, in which case this responsibility for such licenses and payments passes to you. You warrant that musical compositions will be available on standard terms.
8 RadarMusicVideos redistributes earned income from streamed videos via revenue shares. The first £100 earned per video is due to RadarMusicVideos, thereafter we deduct 20% and the remaining 80% is payable to the Client or Director supplying the master. RadarMusicVideos will not be required to account or make payment during any three month period where the balance on the video is less than £120. Payments will be made in GBP, the Client or Director supplying the master to RadarMusicVideos bears commission or money transfer costs.
9 The Client or Director supplying the master warrants they represent all copyright owners in the video, including in the music of the video. They warrant that the videos do not infringe the rights of any third parties and agree to hold harmless and indemnify RadarMusicVideos against any costs, claims or damages from any third parties.

1 Directors understand that RadarMusicVideos is providing a means for Clients and Directors to trade with each other and we are not liable or responsible for any artistic or production issues that may arise from their relationship with the Client.
2 Directors agree to supply honest and truthful information about their music video career and credits in their site profile. Directors agree to supply references to the Client on request.
3 Clients are given access to Director’s rankings, based on Director experience and previous success. It is the Director’s responsibility to ensure profiles are up to date to ensure best opportunity for a high ranking.
4 RadarMusicVideos deducts a maximum 15% fee from Client budgets, the remainder makes up the production budget. The production budget is the budget advertised on each brief.
5 Directors agree if commissioned to deliver the video they pitched, according to the budget advertised, to the audio file the Client supplies, to timescales stated and to the other agreements outlined here.
6 Directors agree to confirm all agreements regarding delivery deadlines, cashflow payments, insurance, deliverables and other relevant information in writing with the Client and prior to commencement, preferably using a formal contract.
7 Directors are recommended to agree a payment upfront, on delivery of the rough cut and the balance within one week of providing deliverables.
8 Directors confirm all content in the video is copyright cleared. Directors will supply signed personal and location release forms if appropriate and requested. Directors must source release forms which are relevant and binding in the country where they make the video.
9 Directors agree to include the credit "made through RadarMusicVideos" in end credits within the video.
10 Radar Music Videos agree to feature commissioned videos in the ‘Commissioned Videos’ category on RadarMusicVideos, subject to Directors linking the video to the site.
11 If the Client changes the brief after commission or does not pay Directors as agreed, please contact us and we will endeavour to help resolve the situation. Please be aware Director’s best protection against harmful practise is ultimately via the contract between Director and Client.
12 If a Client and Director make a video to a treatment submitted through RadarMusicVideos but not commissioned through RadarMusicVideos - ie they have bypassed the commissioning system and not paid the commissioning fee, both Client and Director accounts will be blocked. We reserve the right, in extreme circumstances, to publish names from blocked accounts.
13 Directors agree to use the mechanism of the site to submit treatments and agree not to contact clients direct unless they have been contacted by the client first.
1 Clients understand RadarMusicVideos is providing a means for Clients and Directors to trade with each other and we are not liable or responsible for any artistic or production issues that may arise from their relationship with the Director.
3 Clients confirm they own or have fully cleared all copyright in words and music for the track for the purposes of commissioning through RadarMusicVideos and in any stills or footage made available to Directors.
4 Subject to receiving an appropriate treatment, Clients agree to commission the Director who submitted the treatment. Clients understand that the content of each treatment is confidential and agree not to disclose or otherwise make available treatments to any third party other than the artist.
5 Clients acknowledge RadarMusicVideos recommends to always take references from previous clients prior to commissioning a Director.
6 Clients agree they will not substantially alter the brief after it is published.
7 Clients agree to wait until after treatment deadline to commission a Director.
8 Clients agree to pay the Director the full production budget stated in the brief.
9 Clients agree to confirm all agreements regarding delivery deadlines, cashflow payments, insurances, deliverables and other relevant information in writing with the Director and prior to commencement, preferably via a formal contract.
11 Clients agree to include the credit "made through RadarMusicVideos" in end credits within the video.
12 RadarMusicVideos agrees to feature commissioned videos in the ‘Commissioned Videos’ category on RadarMusicVideos.com, subject to Directors linking the video to the site.
13 Clients agree commissioned videos may be featured without other prior agreement on RadarMusicVideos.com, the RadarMusicVideos facebook page, other selected blogs and sites where we promote our own network, the Director’s personal website and also agree that videos can be entered into real world/offline film and music festivals.
14 If a Director fails to deliver according to treatment, the budget advertised or the timescales agreed, please contact us and we will endeavour to help resolve the situation. Please be aware the best protection against harmful practise is taking references and ultimately via the contract between Client and Director.
15 If a Client and Director make a video to a treatment submitted through RadarMusicVideos but not commissioned through RadarMusicVideos - ie they have bypassed the commissioning system and not paid the commissioning fee, both Client and Director accounts will be blocked. We reserve the right, in extreme circumstances, to publish names from blocked accounts.
We collect personal information about you through the registration process and the profile building service of this website. We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Radar Music Videos will use any personal information collected from the website in accordance with all laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal data including the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Data Protection Act"). Further details on the Data Protection Act can be found on the Information Commissioner's website (www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk).
Radar Music Videos uses your email address as a form of confirmation during the registration process. We will periodically send newsletters and content alerts to your email address. You can unsubscribe and turn off these functions by following the instructions at the bottom of newsletters and alerts.
Use of Radar Music Videos to spam members or recruit members for external websites is not permitted.
